Lexus LFA

It is understood that LFA is the first development of Lexus supercar. It is made by Lexus’s top design and engineering team and it costs about 10 years. LFA uses a variety of advanced technologies to create high strength, ultra-lightweight body. The latest use of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). It can not only achieve four times the aluminum of high strength but also reduce body weight perfectly. The low friction of engine programming is so successful that the idle speed can reach the limit in just 0.6 seconds. They approached the LFA from a non-traditional angle, pushing their technological, material and engineering boundaries at every step.
The result is the rear-wheel drive LFA, a dynamically styled supercar powered by a sophisticated new high-revving 4.8-liter V10 engine that generates 552 hp (412kW/560DIN hp) and 354 lb-ft (480Nm) of torque for adrenaline-fuelled 202 mph (325km/h) performance. This is the most powerful engine in all maximum production. The acceleration time of LFA from 0-10km/h is just 3.7 seconds. This is really excited auto monster.
Engine summary
• Breathtaking performance from an all-new 4.8-liter V10 powerplant rich in motorsport technology

• High-revving engine develops an exceptional 552 hp (412kW/560DIN hp) at 8700rpm and 354 lb-ft (480Nm) of torque at 6,800 rpm

• Rear-wheel drive LFA rockets to 60 mph (96km/h) in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph (325km/h)

• Low-friction powerplant features motorsport-developed independently controlled throttle body for each cylinder and dry sump lubrication

• Front-mid engine V10 is smaller than a traditional V8 engine and as light as a conventional V6 engine yet generates 115 hp (85.7 kW/117DIN hp) per liter

Volvo C30 Performance Concept Prototype (2010) first pictures

This Volvo concept car was produced by Polestar Performance, the people behind the company's Swedish Touring Car team.

Set to debut at the Gothenburg Motor Show, the concept aims to "...build further on the strong driving characteristics of the standard C30 and at the same time illustrate the link between the racing cars and the Polestar Performance products."
To do this, Polestar added a larger intercooler and a KKK 26 turbocharger to the 2.5-liter T5 engine. Thanks to these modifications, power climbs from 227 hp (169 kW / 230 PS) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) to 405 hp (302 kW / 411 PS) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque.
Other goodies include an aerodynamic body kit, a Haldex AWD system, Öhlins shock absorbers and springs, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch BBS wheels outfitted with Pirelli P Zero tires.

Jaguar XKR convertible

The 2010 Jaguar XKR Convertible got a lot of power under the hood (given her dance routines, we'll assume the same is true of Ms. Knowles). The XKR has 510 hp, far more than the 385 hp in the XK Portfolio. It's also got 461 lb-ft of torque and a six-speed transmission, which adds up to a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. Let me tell you, that is believable number. The top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph

Specs for the 2010 Jaguar XKR Convertible As Tested
5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine making 510 hp
Six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters
Adaptive dynamics and differential control
Adaptive cruise control
Lunar Gray paint with Ivory and Oyster interior and oak veener
19-inch Tamana wheels

Engine of Bugatti Veyron

The Veyron features an 8.0-litre (1.8 imp gal; 2.1 US gal) W16 engine — sixteen cylinders in two banks of eight cylinders, or the equivalent of two narrow angle V8 engines mated in a "W" configuration. Each cylinder has four valves for a total of sixty four, but the narrow staggered eight configurations allows two overhead camshafts to drive two banks of cylinders so only four camshafts are needed. The engine is fed by four turbochargers and displaces 7,993 cubic centimetres (487.8 cu in), with a square 86 mm by 86 mm (3.4 in × 3.4 in) bore and stroke.
The transmission is a dual clutch Direct-Shift Gearbox computer-controlled automatic with seven gear ratios, with magnesium paddles behind the steering wheel and a shift time of less than 150 milliseconds.
According to Volkswagen Group, the DIN rated[citation needed] motive power output, approved by TÜV Süddeutschland, of the final production Veyron engine produces 1,001 metric horsepower (736 kW; 987 bhp) and generates 1,250 newton metres (922 ft•lbf) of torque. The figure has been confirmed by Bugatti officials to actually be conservative, with the real total being 1020 bhp or more.
The top speed was verified by James May on Top Gear for the November 2006 issue, again at Volkswagen Group's private Ehra-Lessien test track, where the final-production car hit 407.9 km/h (253.5 mph), which equated to almost one-third of the speed of sound at sea level.
